The Spread Diamond Interchange is a common interchange used in the freeways that provides direct access to California Avenue from the SR-79. This design also includes a bridge along California Avenue that crosses the mainline of SR-79. The proposed interchange design includes two on ramps and two off ramps with signal control at both intersections.

The Hook Ramp Interchange used in this alternative provides direct access to California Avenue from the SR-79. This design also includes a bridge along California Avenue that crosses the mainline of SR-79. SOUTHERN SECTION

The Southern Section of the mainline runs from Station 203+10 to Gilman Springs Road. This section includes the proposed interchange at Lamb Canyon Road and crosses over vacant land, MSHCP conserved land, and PQP conserved land.

NORTHERN SECTION

The Northern Section of the mainline runs from East First Street to Station 203+10. This section includes the proposed interchange at California Avenue and crosses over residential, vacant, and commercial land.
